Hello, and welcome to our website and our practice. I have been a dentist
in Vancouver for over 20 years, and have never been as excited about
dentistry as I am now. New technology, materials and techniques are continually
being developed and today we can do things I never dreamed possible.
The internet lets us share our profession, and learn from others all
over the world, as well as all the great dentists in Vancouver. Dental
treatment now is so much more than filling holes in teeth. We can truly
change peoples lives in many ways, including giving them a beautiful
new smile, eliminating sensitive teeth, helping them to get rid of their
chronic headaches and migraines, and help with snoring and sleep apnea,
both huge problems.
Let me show you one patient's treatment that demonstrates the life changing
ability of modern cosmetic dentistry. Donna suffered for many years
from chronic headaches, and had been through the medical system for diagnosis
with no relief. It was common for her to have headaches 4-5 days a week.
It was all from her bite. The combination of losing some teeth, and her
grinding habit had left her with a collapsed bite, which resulted in
all of the headaches.

1999 Started practice in Coal Harbour, Vancouver with an emphasis
on laser and cosmetic dentistry
2003 Founded Downtown Dental by taking over Dr. Bill Cliffe's
practice and amalgamating the two practices on Alberni Street

Dr. Clarence Wong graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2003 and has been practicing general dentistry in British Columbia since then. Over the years, he has devoted countless hours to continuing education courses and study clubs to better existing skills as well as acquire new ones in the growing field of dentistry. Dr. Wong has special interests in the areas of endodontics and dental implants. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Wong is an avid cyclist and snowboarder. Also, he shares the love of motorsports with Dr. Drance. |
